| Bio: | What is Rickmanalysis?
Rickmanalysis is the term I use to describe my own personal self-exploration, generated by the catalyst that is Alan Rickman. The term Rickmanalysis was coined after I came to the realization that there was perhaps a purpose for my extreme admiration of Alan Rickman – that my mindless squees weren’t the only things being discussed here on a daily basis. Rather, that explorations on the ‘whys’ behind the fandom were common occurrences here -- discussions about celebrityism, acting, reacting, interacting, obsessing -- conversations that actually made me think – and learn – and come to realizations about myself.
Rickmanalysis – A term used to describe the in-depth study and analysis of oneself as well as of Alan Rickman (British actor, born 1946), which often results in friendships, learning, enjoyment, and self-realization.

How does a middle aged mom become *cough* obsessed with Alan Rickman? DUH! Take a look at him -- it's easy! The Internet is a bad influence -- a virtual Alan Rickman parallel universe - a massive gaping vortex of Alan-obsessiveness just waiting to suck me and everyone else, for that matter, into it. Speaking from the bottom of that vortex, I will say that it's surprisingly crowded down here!
Rickman fans, yes, this LJ is yet another bookmark you must immediately add to your 23-page-long-and-growing list of click spots -- make it a daily stop on your incessant and endless scrounging of the entire Internet for shreds of new Alan info. Believe me, I'm scrounging on a daily basis and when goodies are to be had -- I'll be on it!
I'm also a bit obsessive as well as creative, so I'll be making this a repository for any Rickman creations that I brew up -- wallpapers, videos, and more! Oh, and squeeeing, drooling and general Alan-worship is welcome here! There's drool buckets a-plenty for all!
